Copious Cellars is the passion project of Tyson, who taught himself the art of winemaking using the meticulous notes his late father left behind. What started as a father-and-son experiment in 2013 became a way for Tyson to carry that shared curiosity, creativity, and joy forward.
His wines are expressive, playful, and deliberately outside the lines—made in small quantities with a spirit of experimentation rather than a formula. For Tyson, winemaking is about curiosity, connection, and capturing something fleeting: a season, a place, a moment, and the people who make it meaningful.
Jackalope Wine Cellars is the work of Corey, who traded a career as a civil engineer for the world of wine after discovering the camaraderie, hard work, and creativity of harvest. What began with a leap into the unknown became a passion for making something tangible—wine that could be shared with other people.
His wines are handcrafted expressions of the Pacific Northwest, shaped by a belief that great wine is about more than soil and climate. It’s about the people who grow the grapes, make the wine, and gather around the bottle. For Corey, every bottle holds a story—and the opportunity to create a few new ones together.
Freja Cellars has been growing grapes and making wine in Oregon’s Chehalem Mountains since 1998. Today, the next generation—Nick and Gabi—are stepping into the role of owner and winegrower, carrying forward a family tradition while bringing new energy and a desire to connect more deeply with the community around the winery.
Their wines are rooted in the vineyard and made with a classic, food-friendly approach, from elegant Pinot Noir to their bright, crisp Albariño. For Nick and Gabi, Freja is about honoring what came before while continuing to evolve—making wines that are meant to be shared, enjoyed with food, and brought into the everyday life of the community.
